Portland, Maine is the heart of Cumberland County and Southern Maine. Whatever you are seeking, whether it’s a wide range of entertainment & activities, or capturing the city lifestyle within Maine, Portland is the answer.

Among its varied boroughs, Portland has endless options for food, drink, and beyond. I have some personal favorites that I would love to share with you!

If you are looking for a place to eat, Portland is famous for it's wide variety of excellent cuisine, from local Maine food to European, Asian, Fusion and more!  Start at Portland Food Map, which is an excellent resource with a comprehensive list of Portland area restaurants organized by type of cuisine or on a map.

Looking to explore Casco Bay on some beautiful classic Alden Schooners?  Try Portland Schooner Company which has 3 schooners and 4, 2hr sails daily, in season (May to October).

Want a taste of culture?  Portland's Museum of Art has a variety of classic, modern and contemporary art and has some interesting pieces of Portland's history.

How about something more unique?  Portland is home to the world's only Crytozoology Museum and it's conveniently located next to one of Portland's many breweries, Bissell Brothers, so you can quench your thirst after the museum.
